Fishery Update

Fisheries Update:
This update is one of two over the Easter weekend. The next being on Sunday Evening detailing our planned fishery developments for this year.

Due to the current situation with respect to the Corona Virus(Covid-19) our fisheries are closed to Angling as per the Government Legislation. After having discussions with my Fishery partners, Shrewsbury Town Council, with respect to loss of fishing for the lockdown period, we have decided to add an additional 4 months on all full season permit renewal categories from the 1st March this year to February 28th 2021. In other words you will have 16 months for the price of 12 months. This is only applicable on permits renewed by the renewal date of which is displayed on your permit card.

I would also like to inform that we shall be continuing with further works on Oxon Pool this Saturday, Sunday and Monday to get nearer to completion. There will be two people working there to within Government restrictions. Permission has been given by the Police and Authorities. The pool is still closed to Anglers and the General Public. There will be more information about Oxon Pool on the next update.
Please Stay at Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives.
