Over the last month we have replaced old fishing platforms with one each at Monkmoor, Emstrey and Sydney Avenue with new. In addition we completed strimming and small tree work in the Quarry Park and County Ground around the fishing platforms. We also carried out some essential maintenance to platforms in these areas as well as Monkmoor and Sydney Avenue. These works were all funded by the fisheries. The new platforms will improve access on our river fisheries. We would like to thank Tony and Bob our platform installers of Paul Travis & Sons who were contracted to complete the works.
