Today was still very difficult with the river level at around 1.5m with the level starting to drop in the second half of the day. The Vyrnwy sediment was still present that stops the fish feeding.
Overnight it is predicted that the level will dramatically drop and with it the clearing of the sediment content in the water. It is forecast to be around 1m and anticipated for us to have a much better days sport.
The winner of today’s match was Ian Courtney with a weight of 5-3-12 of peg 26 in the County Ground. 2nd was Local angler Guy Jones 3-5-4 peg 46 Quarry and 3rd Chris Holmes Bridgnorth 3-2-4 peg 9 County Ground.
Let’s see what tomorrow brings with expected better weights.
A prize of an Acolyte 17’ Rod has been kindly donated for the biggest fish caught tomorrow by Chris Holmes of Middle Severn Angling.
See you all tomorrow.
