As the weather and water temperatures have improved we can reopen our river stretches Sydney Avenue, Monkmoor, The Quarry, County Ground, Doctors Field and Emstrey for fishing.
The Reabrook remains closed until further notice.
With respect to our pools, Mousecroft pool can reopen for fishing.
Oxon and Radbrook pools will remain closed until further notice.
Pike and Salmon fishing is still suspended until further notice.
Anglers who fish Sydney Avenue must fish from the river platforms and be in close control of their rods. Fishing sat in their vehicles is not acceptable under our fisheries rules.
Please ensure you have adequate sized landing nets to land and rest fish and possess suitable unhooking mats that must be wet when used to unhook fish.
Where ever possible unhook in the water in your landing nets, rest well and release.
We will keep on monitoring our waters and ask anglers to always check out our website or Facebook pages for fisheries updates before you go fishing.
It is also important that all season and day ticket permit holders read our fisheries rules and conditions for our waters. They are in place for a reason.
