Our Junior Coaching Events Dates for this year are now available in our Coaching Events section on our website.
We have changed the booking format. Each date goes live 3 weeks prior to the event taking place. On receipt of each booking, our Head Coach Ian James will confirm and forward an information form for completion. He will confirm your place once he receives the form by return.
The sessions are free and will take place on Mousecroft Pool.(What Three Words Location lies.alien.vines)
We will help any children 6 years of age and above who would like to learn how to fish including mums and dads or guardians and give you a head start to go fishing together.
We can supply the equipment and bait at each event or you may wish to bring your own tackle if you have some.
Previous participants may book if they do wish.

All our coaches are qualified, DBS checked and they are all confident anglers too. Our team look forward to seeing you there.

2025, what a year!
We started the year with lots of rain and cold weather, floods, and part of Mousecroft underwater. Then it warmed up, and we ran coaching for junior’s via the website, and cub scout sessions.
The pool fished fantastically, and on the coaching sessions everybody caught fish, with some specemins landed, and lot’s of pictures taken. Lot’s of large bream, crucian carp, small common and mirror carp ( A sign of a healthy environment), tench, skimmer bream, and of course lot’s of hungry perch. We started in 2019, and this was the best year yet.
Now to 2026, sessions are posted on the coaching events page on the website, 6 coaches standing by to help, and really looking forward to this year.
