Take a good look of these specimens in the photos attached. These were recently found on our Monkmoor Fishery.
Litter is a big pet hate of mine. Myself and our fisheries team spend hours of our time monitoring pollution, fisheries works, protecting the environment on our fisheries to name a few so anglers can go fishing and anglers in the minority can’t be bothered to take litter home. As recently as today a mess with litter was discovered by one of our bailiffs at Radbrook Pool.
It’s not difficult to take your litter and waste tackle home and put it in the bin.
Cans from bait are banned off our fisheries and so are drinks cans. It was put in the fisheries rules for this reason and no other.
We shall be monitoring this as a team and if you are found to have left litter I will remove your permit whether it be a day or season.
Take your litter and rubbish home and leave cans at home. Put your bait in a bait tub. Read the fisheries rules and conditions.
