Shrewsbury River Classic 3 Day Festival Update:
As posted on November 15th the 3 Day Festival was moved to Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7th 8th and 9th February 2020. I can confirm that it is scheduled to take place on that date.
The NEW Head Quarters is now the Wheatsheaf Inn, 19 Frankwell, Shrewsbury SY3 8JY. The draw will be at 8.00am and breakfasts available from 7.30am. All competitors need to park in Frankwell Car Park prior to the draw. Parking behind pegs has been arranged for the event. Fishing will be from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
There are two lists shown. The first list shows the current list of 57 paid up Anglers for the event. The names with a question mark have not confirmed to me they can fish. Can each one please confirm on 07980556498 that you can fish. I will then publish the final listing prior to the event.The second list is the list of Anglers who cannot fish and have opted to go straight onto the festival for 6th 7th and 8th October 2020. This Festival will now be limited to 54 competitors and the remaining places will go on sale the first Tuesday in May.
Now that Riverfest is out of my hair, let’s hope we can have some super Festivals.
