Shrewsbury Town Fisheries is responsible for operating all aspects of coarse and game angling on still and running water owned by Shrewsbury Town Council.
Fishing is open to all members of the general public who purchase an appropriate annual permit or day ticket of which is solely available via our website.
Day and Season permits must be purchased before you go on the bank to fish as we do not sell them on the bank. You will be asked to leave if you do not have a valid permit.
Shrewsbury Town Fisheries offers a wealth of exceptional angling. From some of the finest river match fishing in the country to Carp and still water fishing. Fisheries also include opportunities for small brook Trout and Grayling angling, world class Salmon fishing and well renowned Barbel fishing sections of the River Severn.
